The consistent warm temperatures happening in Houston are so welcome considering weather changes every 5 minutes! It’s already started to feel like Spring and I’m getting excited about all the floral prints, bright colors and sunshine that comes with this season. Though winter was not really harsh in Houston, I experienced dry and dull skin because of the lower temperatures. And if there’s one thing I love about Spring is getting my skin looking dewy and sun-kissed again. Playing with vivid lipstick shades and eyeliners seems to be the trend this Spring 2017 and here are some looks and products to inspire you!
Bright Graphic Liner
Graphic eyeliner was all over the runways in New York Fashion Week and it was quite dramatic. For a more subdued real-life version of the look, try a fun-colored liner in green, blue or even a reddish brown to make your eyes pop. Peach Everything
Peach or coral is a universally flattering shade of make-up for all skintones. A peach blush will always make you look flushed if applied on your upper cheekbones and it’s a nice change from the usual pink. Donning a peach lips and cheeks is also in trend since there was a lot of matchy-matchy make-up looks strutting down the runway.
Microblading
Microblading is a very popular and trendy semi-permanent process to make your eyebrows appear full, fill in bald spots or any accidental over plucking. It makes your eyebrows appear feathery, natural and totally in shape. Eyebrows frame your face and most women don’t know how to fill them out properly without overdoing it so this is a perfect alternative if you want the best brows without much maintenance. The best part? The color starts fading in about 3 years so cheers to waking up with perfect brows till then!
