Big Change Up in Pants Styling: Wide Legs are Back

Feature---Wide-Leg-Pants

Hi, Monica here from Classy & Fabulous telling you about the newest trend in pants.  Skinny pants no more! After almost a decade long of this trend, it seems like designers are ready to refresh the trouser look with new styles on the runways.  Designers such as  Etro, Lyn Devon, 3.1 Philip Lim and Armani included wide style trousers to their collections .

Editor’s Note:   In fact, there are many designers, who have taken it a step further, on their casual side and re-introduced the Culotte, so popular when introduced in the 60’s and 70’s and come and gone in fashion over the last few decades. I’ve pulled mine out of the closet and have been wearing them and let me tell you how comfy and yet stylish they can be!

A couple of personal styling tips while wearing this style pant: If you are 5’5 or shorter they look better with heels or wedges. Also, the most flattering hem length is just above your ankle. The most flattering place on a woman’s leg is 2-3 inches above the ankle.
