Bow Blouses are Back in a Big Way

Untitled-2

What’s neat about fashion is that everything that goes out of style typically comes back in style at one point or another. And sometimes it’ll come back in a whole new, much more modern way. For example, the bow blouse…

Way back when, the bow blouse may have been thought of as something only ‘preppy’ girls would wear or those who were more conservative. Well, that is certainly no longer the case. In fact, the bow blouse has been seen all over the runways, on many celebs, and many designers (such as Tory Burch) are recreating this little gem in tons of different ways (think loosely tied bows).

The great thing about the bow blouse is how versatile it is. It can be worn tucked into skirts (think pencil, midi..), with pants and jeans of all kind (high rise, flare, boyfriend), and it works for all seasons. We’ve seen bow blouses in various fabrics and with varying sizes of ‘bows.’ This wardrobe staple can really fit into any and every woman’s closet out there. Here are some ways to wear the bow blouse, and we’re loving each and every one of them. As well, at the bottom of the post you can shop and purchase right here some of our absolute favorite bow blouses. Enjoy! (And did you see Houston’s own celeb Dominique Sachse wearing it last night?!)
