Ciao Milano…Fall 2017 Fashion Runways Prove Most Exciting So Far

Gucci1

In a season of watching Fall Fashion 2017 Runway shows from my loyal and best watching pal, my laptop computer, I could not help but get excited and as always a little proud of the dynamic, creative fashion that was coming from the runways of the country of my heritage.  Milan, Italy for show after show, reached out to me with it’s bursts of creativity, individuality, color and design.  Personally I feel that much of the credit for re-energizing this country has come from the ingenious  placement of Alessandro Michele at Gucci, who stepped it up for that brand and the entire country has been ignited by that spark.

A highlight of some of the best of Milan, we have chosen below.  Please note that above each designer brand we have highlighted the name in red of the designer that follows it. Also, for you to click on to to see the complete collections on their website.  There were far too many choices for us to show all….but treat yourself and pick either a favorite of yours or watch them all………you are so in for a treat!  Bellissimo!!!

At Missoni, there was a touch of a point-of-view as Margherita Missoni supported the American/World cause for Women that had marched around the world in her finale, making her own signature Missoni striped version of the “cat eared” knit cap

Crimson….the dominant color of the country’s fashions makes a lot of sense to me….after all, it is the color of wine!
