Le Labo Fragrances has opened its first free-standing store here on Westheimer in our Montrose area.
Le Labo Fragrance is hands-down my very favorite fragrance. I found it when Saks brought in the designer/founder and he explained to us their unique concept and hand-picked for me what would become a fragrance that I love, have shared with many friends and even strangers that are now believers. When I saw that Le Labo had opened, I asked our talented intern, Bess Krasoff to make a short trip to Montrose and check it all out! The following are her findings.
With Houston expanding as an international beauty mecca, the Montrose area is a new haven to two world-renowned brands. Le Labo and Aesop opened next door to one another on Westheimer, and are transforming Houston’s fine fragrance and skincare scene. With 40 Le Labo boutiques worldwide, the Montrose location is the only freestanding store in Houston, but is also still available at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Houston Galleria. Le Labo fragrances are different than your average perfume bottle as the products are extremely fresh. Once you pick the fragrance, Le Labo employees will hand-blend your bottle. Their vintage candles are hand-poured in Mississippi. Additionally, Le Labo products are heavily personalized. Your own 23-word label can be printed on every purchased bottle. In each boutique, travel tubes and solid perfume bottles can be personally engraved making them great presents. Hosting this kind of unique and customized service experience, Le Labo fragrances are sure to be a success in Houston’s beauty market.
