Relish at Night

Relish Fine Foods, recently relocated to Upper Kirby district has now expanded their service hours to include dinner service

As I have previously written, we at MRG, are long time fans of Relish and the great synergy that Addie D’Agostino and hubby Dustin Teague have created there, which we have known as a great salad, soup and sandwich destination until now! For the couple, this week has been the launch of their newest venture in the business and that is to include dinner service as a dining option.  They have made this move forward with very simple dishes that they do so well…..lamb chops, steaks, fresh fish and veggies with their unique and tasty twist.

To complete the dinner selection, they have opened their bar area to include basic cocktails and reasonably priced wines from Italy and France. They have also recently added a pastry chef who has begun to tweek the very popular cookie selection and add some new sweet delights that further enhance their menu.

Maryland Crab Cakesmy main course of the evening; I’m not a food critic but have always been told that in noshing on crab cakes what is the true test is the amount of actual crab vs. filler and these were mostly crab and delish, a must try!

Pan Seared Catch of the Day....in our case it was Salmon that night; very tasty and the faro and fresh veggies were an added bonus!

Panna Cotta.…accompanied by pomegranate and poached pears was divine; a highlight from the newest member of the Relish team, former pastry chef from Tony’s, Zach Sendukas.
