The festival kicks off with two dinners, Thursday evening: The Boiling Point and the Italian Invasion.  The Boiling Point is a seafood boil, with southern influence from Louisiana’s Cajun crawfish boils and the Low country’s shrimp boils. The Chefs in charge of this evening’s dishes are David Bancroft ( Alabama), Bryan Caswell (Texas), and Edward Lee (Kentucky).  A portion of proceeds from this dinner will go benefit the Southern Salt Foundation.
