Update Your Wardrobe with Spring’s Newest Fashion Trends…

As the Spring Season is actually upon us here in H-town and coming soon to our friends to the East, it’s time to take a good hard look at our closets and determine what are those fashion pieces we need to add to our wardrobe to make our look, Spring 2013!

The following are what we have determined to be the biggest trends from the Spring runways, that can be easily interpreted for each of your wardrobes to give it just the update that it needs to look fresh and new.

As I tell many of the women as I work their closets during a wardrobe consulting session…it is not necessary or desirable to be a trend victim of the season and purchase all of these looks. Your mission is to find those special trends that when incorporated into your classic pieces, reflect YOUR individual style, YOUR fashion personality!

Here, are Spring 2013 Fashion Trends and what new twists have been added to each to update them for this season…(more to follow on accessories/footwear, stay tuned to TCS).

    1. Carol, on your question on shorts and age cut off for wearing them. I feel there is more to consider than just age. You need to think about the length of the short, the condition of your legs and your audience. I would say as you mature the longer short is appropriate for just about as long as your legs look like they should be in shorts! You look great and would be adorable in the newest bermuda short!

  1. What would H-town do without your insight and direction? I have been following your advice for years and continue to do so. Thank you for the Spring trend overview.
