Adding More Bustle to the Busy Upper Kirby Scene….Del Frisco Grille Opens Its Doors

If there weren’t enough restaurant happenings on the Upper Kirby scene for you,  we have another to add to the list that is a little bit familiar in name but has a different vibe than how we’ve known it.  This exciting new eatery dishing up creative twists on American comfort classics is Del Frisco’s Grille and it opened with a bang on March 16th.  It was a great party night but also for us, it was a great night of meeting the peeps behind the scene that will be the mainstay of this well-established eatery with a new twist.  We enjoyed meeting Executive Chef Jeff Taylor and Manager Scott Sieck who graciously assured us that they will be there to make sure it all runs to perfection.

We were able to taste some of the special foods Chef Taylor has showcased as great “share with friends” or “Food to Fight Over” as they are being called.  My favorite of those was the Ahi Tacos…..amazing!  Aside from all of the fun dishes, the menu is rounded out with a selection of Del Frisco’s signature prime steaks and shareable indulgences, such as another fave taste of mine that night, Chipolte Three-Cheese Mac to name one of many.

If you can make it up in the a.m., they are proud to announce that they have also started a brunch, so the Grille will be open for lunch, cocktails, dinner and weekend brunch. It offers an inviting place to hang out with its modern interiors and dual exteriors that will keep the scene there lively!

In case you haven’t passed it, Del Frisco’s Grille is located at 2800 Kirby in West Ave.(inside the complex, exterior shot shown above)  All details and further info are available online at www.delfriscogrille.com or call 832-623-6168 and don’t forget to follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/DFGrilleHouston.

To quote the words of its CEO…..”Houston is known for its award-winning and sophisticated dining scene…” and it looks like Houston has another entrée to that scene!
