One of Houston’s own, Pondicheri, Indian cafe and bakery, has officially opened its doors in The Big Apple. Houston Chef Anita Jaisinghani, who has earned two James Beard nominations, opened her first NYC restaurant on West 27th street earlier this week. If you’re unfamiliar with Pondicheri, it’s a delicious little spot in West Ave, full of Indian flavored food. We’ve spent many coffee and lunch meetings there and we absolutely love it…….especially those Indian breakfasts and to-die-for cookies!   Next time we’re in NYC, we will absolutely be checking it out.
