One of our very favorite restaurants in Houston has opened its doors Downtown. Local Foods now has a 4th location in a historic art deco building on the northwest corner of Prairie and Main Streets (420 Main Street). Benjy Levit and Chef/Partner Dylan Murray started this gourmet, upscale sandwich shop back in 2011 in Rice Village, and since then, it’s become one of the hottest spots in town to grab lunch. In this new location, you will be able to find its first ever raw bar and ceviche program, among many other delicious foods and favorites. There are also plans in the works for Local’s first designated Happy Hour program, which would feature craft cocktails, local beers, and more. We are SO excited to check out the new Local, and we have a feeling it’ll certainly be a destination for those in town for Super Bowl next month!
