The On the Move Luncheon benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society sold out for the fourth consecutive year, drawing 420 supporters to Hotel Zaza.
Franelle Rogers chaired, with honorary chairs Nancy and Cardon Gerner Honoree Roz Pactor, a stylish dynamo famous for her red glasses, got a standing ovation for her community work. Her brother, the Grammy Award-winning Steve Tyrell, presented the award. It’s a cause near to their hearts: His daughter was diagnosed several years ago with MS.
Dr. Timothy Lotze also accepted honors, representing the Blue Bird Circle Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital. EJ Levy and brothers Griff and Hunter Jaggard shared stories about how MS has impacted their families.
