Exciting news in the Fashion World recently has been the announcement that Yves Saint Laurent is returning to couture for the first time in over a decade.  The French house last showed a couture collection when it was created by its founder in 2002, moments before his retirement. It has not been revealed yet whether it will show within a couture show schedule or will be creating bespoke pieces for celebrities and clients, both men and women.

It will all be overseen by Hedi Slimane, its creative director since 2012.  The pieces will be produced at the label’s new atelier.  This new space, has been several years in the works and will be housed within a 17th century mansion, Hotel de Sénecterre.

I spoke earlier about my bucket list, but here is another list item on it….a trip to Haute Couture week in Paris and nothing would make me happier than to add a visit ti YSL on to my trip!
