A Great FIND is Back in Town

THE FIND Fashion Market, created by local trend spotter, Chelsea Dryer, provides the local fashion scene with a unique shopping experience. Made up of a selected group of talented, emerging designers who will be selling their jewelry, handbag, shoe, and ready-to-wear collections. This concept was conceived a couple of years ago by Chelsea and is back after a short hiatus. I personally have attended all, as I found it to be a great laboratory of fashion newcomers, some from the local scene but many imports that offered awesome creative designs not seen anywhere else, which is all part of Ms. Dryer’s master plan!

Houston Native, Chelsea Dreyer, re-created THE FIND after initially discovering a unique space, BOHEME, in the Montrose area, which she felt to be conducive to satisfying Houstonian’s appetite for new designers’ collections together in one location. Dreyer will present THE FIND fashion market for the 3rd time, this year outdoors, providing a Spanish Market style shopping experience.

There you can stroll sustainable party frocks from Houston and NYC favorite, David Peck, handcrafted jewelry from dePetra and Colignon Designs and many others. Also, will be sandals, and bright mochilas imported from an indigenous community in Colombia by a little-known Etsy shop, just to name a few.

While this is not a charity event, each designer will give a portion of their profit from THE FIND to a charity of their choosing.

Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase at the door as well as their website prior to the event this Saturday, May 14th, from 9am-6pm at Boheme (a pretty wine bar!) 307 Fairview (corner of Taft) Houston, TX 77006. Also, a signature of this fun, entertaining event, designed to mimic that of an outdoor Spanish Market style shopping experience will also include a line-up of yummy accompaniments to your shopping experience, including sangria, cappuccino, crepes and live music!

Chelsea has spent months putting together an undiscovered line-up that would make any hip Houstonian proud. For more details and to pre-purchase your tickets, visit, www.thefindhouston.blogspot.com.
