After 14 years, Daily Candy is closing its doors this Friday, April 4. For those of us that have made a life in this online business, these were the guys that started it all for us. It’s who we looked at for ideas, it started a “language” of writing that was fun and relaxed and made you feel like you were listening to your best friend tell you about something new and hip that you just had to try. Most importantly you had a first look at a great new designer, chef or a fab happening that many times, was being shown to the online world for the first time. We may have taken it for granted like one of those things that you think will always be around but personally, for me and for many readers out there…..it will be missed and deserves a hoorah from My Red Glasses for being first!
