These BOOTS Are Not Just Made for Walking Anymore?!

No, in fact, boots are also made for prancing and dancing, lunching or evening dining and as the perfect partner for jeans, can be as casual as you want to be.  The point is that BOOTS have become the #1 Accessory item for Fall and since this trend has been building for the last four years, if you haven’t yet, the time is now to invest in a BOOT WARDROBE!

Here are the essentials that works for most women….

Tall knee-high Boots in leather or suede are the #1 must-have shoe item of the season. Best option to compliment this season’s classic dressing; Black or Brown, you pick, I vote for one of each. Suede has a dressier feel and works best with daytime dresses and suits, but if you own or prefer leather, that works too. Should have a heel at least 3” and can work with all styles in all wardrobes!

Ankle Boots, again, preferably with some heel height is the perfect accompaniment to this season’s hottest return-to-the-ever-classic pantsuit. Color, your choice, but if you’re puzzled about what to wear with NAVY, season’s up and coming color, go with Brown.

Bootie, the boot replacement for the classic shoe is a great match-up with pants, of course, but looks newest if worn with dresses and skirts. Key to looking chic here is best when worn with tights, and yes, always match the tight to the shoe, and also to the skirt or dress.

Now about the other styles additions that may not be everybody-styles but are great additions for many stylish women…….

Stella McCartney Over The Knee

Over-the-Knee Boots are definitely not an every gal look. Best on the taller, long-legged, thin thigh ladies…you know who you are! I don’t hate you, I envy you, as this is not one for me, but it is definitely fashion’s favorite of the season and the runways were loaded with this look. I say, you like it, you feel comfy in it…then you should wear it over your skinny jeans or with a short flirty dress. I prefer the look with a tight but, hey again, this is a very personal look and your preference is the way to go!

Riding Boots, always flat heeled and designed to be worn outside of the pant or jean. Usually casual but can be dressed up to wear with skirts or skirt suits. Comfort with style is the selling point here!

Cowboy Boots, do I need to say anything at all about this category that has become not only a Texas but an American icon. The question is how many do you own and for you true-blue Rodeo-going cowgirls out there, remember they can look good with not only western duds; they are starting to have a lot of fashion touches. You can also step out to Frye Boots. They are back on the scene and can be that second rugged boot you own, after your cowboy boot.

UGG® Australia Boots. They are flat, lined with sheepskin, I am sure you own at least one pair. Nothing out there cozier to tuck your jeans, leggings, jeggings or sweats into. Own the basics… step out, they have lots of new colors, styles and heights to pick from.

So Boot season is here, and we know that the temp does not matter, Texas peeps…..it’s all about the look and nothing says Fall more than sporting your newest, modern pair of boots. The beauty now is that they will take you anywhere…from Jeans to LBD’s! Got to have them, and in lots of varieties!
