Nothing makes me happier than to see a local Houston friend start you know is something good and watch it grow. For me that is the case with Christina Greene. Having met her through a mutual young friend when she was just starting her business, I recognized her talent early on and have watched her grow into a successful young business woman showcasing great fashion taste and style in all that she does.
We gathered recently to take a look at her newest collection, Geometrics, and I loved what I saw. If you are unaware of this young lady….she is a native Houstonian, who founded her collection in 2011. Her jewelry has been categorized as upscale southwestern jewelry, in fact, she has even been pegged as the “Queen of the Rodeo” as she does an awesome business in that category in our rodeo–lovin’ town! She has grown her brand rapidly and can be purchased online and/or 75 retail locations worldwide, with 7 being in the Houston area, including Pinto Ranch, Tootsies, and others that can be found on her website. The Geometrics collection is her most recent of the 15 collections that have spanned the life of her brand.
“The brand is known for southwestern inspired statement pieces so with this line I wanted to take a step back from the expected and add something different to my collection,” said Christina Greene, Founder and Designer. “It’s a nod to modern coupled with classic, semi-precious stones and textured metals for a strong feminine style.”
“Each piece is made with 18k gold plating over hypoallergenic and nickle-free brass. The baubles are customizable with three different stones to add a pop of color to the artistic shapes.”
