Pretty in Pink…The Color of Spring

The-Color-Pink-Feature

Pink live florals, particularly my favorite, Pink Peonies, cannot be denied as a significant message that Spring has arrived!

The most significant color message of Pink for Spring 2014 is the many shades of this hue that travels from my personal favorite, BLUSH, to soft pinks to the hautness of Hot Pink, coinciding with the recent launch in January of Elsa Schiaparelli’s reborn couture collection (a first since 1954),  which highlights her signature color hot pink, making it look new and fresh again.  The end use of these shades are endless…..and though I have proclaimed myself to not be a pink person, I was once and I’m getting my groove back as I see how it’s being  interpreted in all areas of apparel, accessories (desperately want the soft pink Prada satchel) and even in the home decor areas where a pop here and there gives a special chic fashion touch to a home.  I like the colors done tonally, head to toe, but as I have always said, if that is too much for you, pop where you’d like……a perfect accessory, a little cropped jacket over a dress or jean…….and blush, in particular can be the neutral shoe of choice that will work with so many Spring fashions. Enjoy a look at some of our favorite choices and how we like them shown.  To see more visit our Pinterest page where having a pink board is a sure way to show our readers our commitment to this color.
