Happy Thanksgiving to all….

In a year like no other......sending gratitude from our home to yours

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that have followed me and supported My Red Glasses over the years……I am very grateful to each and every one of you. I value your friendship and the love of my family more than you know.

This has been quite a year and so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is really here, however different it may be. I know that while there have been sacrifices made for this holiday and much more and there is still pain and uncertainty, there is also gratitude and we must count our blessings this holiday more than ever. I feel collectively grateful for all of our health care workers, our teachers, our volunteers and our essential workers who work on the frontlines of humanity moving us all forward today and every day. I pray for their continued safety and for their resiliency.

Wishing a happy, safe holiday to all of you. Please stay healthy and help one another. As I heard Tom Brokaw say yesterday at a closing to a Thanksgiving commentary, “let’s join hands and remember we are all in this together.”

We wish you a very happy, blessed, and safe Thanksgiving!

Roz

P.S. For those of you, like myself, that are inclined to find prayer as my refuge, particularly during these past months, I picked up this simple little prayer from Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper……“Dear God, even though Thanksgiving will be different this year, please don’t let me forget how grateful I am for all the blessings I already have. Amen.”
