Italian Cookies Like Your Nona Used to Make

Come have some fun and your family will be thrilled

Growing up in an Italian-American home, particularly at this time of year, we anxiously awaited the many batches of homemade Italian cookies that our Grandmothers and Mothers would make. I can still recall that fragrant smell of the baking cookies that filled our home. However, if you are like me and many of my generation, you ate to your heart’s content but you didn’t necessarily learn to bake those delicious Italian delights.

So, I asked, I pleaded and the Italian Cultural & Community Center listened and for the very first time they are offering a class on how to make authentic homemade Italian cookies. I’ve signed up and ask you to come and join me.

Please come and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with us by baking tasty and festive Italian cookies for you and your loved ones. Your family will love that you are doing this. This cooking class will be taught by Alessandra and Erika from the Center. In this hands-on class we will be learning how to make 4 different types of cookies. Both using Italian American and Italian recipes from Italy….two will be authentic Italian recipes and two will be Italian American recipes!

    1. I agree and told them I can’t wait for another one, hopefully after the first of the year, as many couldn’t make it due to it being a sell-out!! Nice meeting you today!!! Stay in touch, please.
