Looking Back At 2019 One Last Time……and One More Happy New Year to All

Never too late to look back at special moments as we begin our move forward!

One last pic of the biggest thing to happen to our family in 2019……our move away from our beloved home. A huge milestone but we couldn’t be happier! Try it, it’s not easy but can be a giant step towards simplifying your life!

First of all, to those of you that I haven’t reached thru other media, I want to say Happy New Year and wish you all happiness, good health and much prosperity as you approach 2020. We laid back some for the holiday to recharge our batteries and unfortunately for me, as so many of you, adapting to that ‘one less week this year’, with the addition of some ailing family members, my holiday time was just too short and left me behind on much of the revelry of the season. It also slowed me down a bit, in getting this new year started, but we’re back and ready to hit these Roaring 2020’s full force.

I don’t know about others but one of my favorite things about facing a new year is to carve out  a moment in time to take a deep breath and look back at the year we are leaving. In the case of this year, we are also leaving a decade, which has been amazing for me to think about. The evolution of technology, particularly the mobile phone which has become implanted in our hands and in our lives. Also, the roller coaster ride in fashion and specifically retail and the abundance of options in our city for dining, entertainment and fine arts is an entire story of its own, that fascinates me. I am one of those that reads or watches every recap at this time of year in amazement of all that we were a part of, that enforces for me the challenge of developing my goals to move forward by taking a quick look at the past.

The following are some of the highlights of the year that we, here at My Red Glasses were a part of and many of you lived through with us. I hope you enjoy taking a look with us one last time as we get ready to embrace the New Year and the New Decade. Also, sorry it’s a little lengthy, lots of photos as lots happened here last year, and it took hours of looking through hundreds of pics. I could not include all of the events and happenings in this great city of ours but I did my best with the help of Julie Weinstein. Enjoy and let’s share another year of making great memories in 2020!

**It should be noted that Italy and visiting and shopping in that amazing country is becoming a big part of what I do and look forward to with bpptours.com I have touched on it here but will be posting a more detailed recap of what that’s like as we plan our 2020 trips. If you are interested, please leave a comment here as we are planning a get together very soon(Jan.21st) to share with any of you that are interested, just what its director, M.A. Shute is planning for the coming year.
