Well, today’s the day that it all starts or more correctly for us, hopefully it’s all going to be finished as we plan our second and final move. I feel that we have been moving for a year, which in reality we did start our downsizing/moving prep last summer and here we are ending this summer by moving into our permanent high rise apartment during this long Labor Day Weekend. We’ve had a great ‘transition’ of six months in a temporary smaller place while our home that I loved was being renovated and on the market for sale. We’re at that place now, where this process is moving forward as we speak and the larger apartment that we loved and dreamed of moving into is ready and it’s all coming together with the help of a lot of prayers and positive thoughts from us and that small village of friends and family that have been by our side, all along this life-changing journey. I encourage many of my contemporaries to think about this change…..it ‘ain’t easy’ as it has been said but it’s proven to be the best of life.
I’m sharing all of this with you , to say, also that like any great theater, I will be ‘going dark’ from sending out my blast for about a week, however, due to the beauty of the internet I’m still out there so please, catch up on some reading of my past posts, they’re here! For me, I need the time and focus to get this final move done!!
