Last night, Swarovski hosted a Styling Event at their Memorial City location, and we sent our contributor, Francene, and our new intern, Audrey, to cover it. They said it was a fabulous evening full of sparkle and glitz! Keep reading for the details and some photos of the stunning jewelry.
Our newest Intern, Audrey Brook, and I went along to the Swarovski Trunk Show and Styling Event at Memorial City Mall last night to see their latest collection. Miranda Kerr has been the face of Swarovski for the last 2 years. Like Miranda you can mix and match the colours and how you wear these. We LOVED the gold pieces, very in colour for the summer months.
They had bubbles laid out and mini cute pink cupcakes ready for picking! The staff were all extremely friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable about the brand and designs. Speaking with the Store Manager from The Galleria, she said this is one of 40 events they do annually and throughout their 200 stores based in America. She is a huge fan of statement necklaces and ear cuffs. Her favorite is a silver subtle detailing cuff which would be a great addition to any outfit.

It comprises designs based on a clean and graphic shape set with sparkling and matte crystals. The cut out designs have a youthful and fresh look with an elegant feel. We were lucky enough for one of the shop assistants to model their unique red statement necklace
Audrey modeled the most beautiful, sparkling statement necklace we saw at the event. Both of us were hooked on how dazzling it looked, especially as Audrey was wearing a dress which complimented the necklace.
I love to pair a statement piece such as a great cuff (they had a gorgeous silver simple ear cuff) or ring with my favorite jeans and T-shirt or maxi dress, and then for the evening I build on the piece by adding a complementary necklace or earrings. Swarovski has a wide range of easy-to-wear jewelry pieces and accessories to highlight personal style, add sparkle and a touch of glamour to any look.
We both managed to buy sneaky purchases while there – I think this is now a regular occurrence for me while attending events! Great minds think alike when we both said out loud how much we LOVED their simple gold rings. Very in right now, and a great item to wear on it’s on or mix with other accessories.
Overall, it was a very fun, beautiful evening, full of lots of sparkle!
