It’s that time of the year when so many of us are glued to our TV’s just to be a part of one of the most important sports event in the world. Will Michael Phelps continue to make history? Will our towns the Simones (that’s Manuel and Biles) medal??  Well, swimming is done and Phelps certainly did it and Biles is on her way to possibly three more medals in gymnastics…..all in all much excitement to watch on the small screen if you can’t be there in person!

However, with all of the importance that athleisure wear is playing on the fashion scene it was fun to take a look at the many ways that Olympic-fever is influencing fashion during this time.  We found plenty to look at…….from America and Brazil’s Vogue covers and spreads devoted to sports fashion to many other publications that have taken the most basic of sports apparel and styled it up a bit taking it to the next level and made it very, very fashionable!

Following are some of the ways that the Olympics are being interpreted and inspiring high fashion around the world.  At the end we have also given you some of our curated choices of pieces that you can actually purchase right here just by clicking on some of our favorite looks.

Enjoy both…….another week of live sports and a look at some of the ways that you can dress the part and be a participant in your own living room!
