Paris….It’s Been Awhile But Still Inspired By All of the Grandeur and Style of This Great City

Paris
It’s been awhile since Alan and I were in this great city and having only three days there on holiday from working in Italy was not nearly enough time to catch up but I have some highlights of those special days…..and yes, we’re in jackets, it has been chilly here in Europe for the last three weeks. However, summer has arrived this week, I’m assuming in preparing us for re-entry to Texas heat next week!

Although Italy and working for BPP Tours was my mission in jumping across the pond for what has been close to a month now, we could only work so long. So, both M.A. and myself took a breather with our better-halfs and ventured out on our break between the two tours. For me it was Milan first……a magical city with style like no other and the second stop for us was Paris, of which the same can be said as Milan just done differently, the French way. Both were equally too short and both were stunners and as I truly cherished my time there, I can only wait to plan another stay in each!

Some highlights of Paris.…..where I chose to edit my stay there and focus on places I had not been and also to spend more of my time in Saint Germain area where i had stayed before and wanted to learn more.

The Iconic Landmarks of Paris…

The Museums We Visited…

……and now the Museums, only time to visit two…..the Dorsay and the Picasso Museum in the interesting area of Marais……

Dining in Paris…

Dining was high on our list of things to do in Paris……recommendations from friends were endless and too many to try but all that we were able to schedule were 100%……merci beaucoup to all of you!!

Shopping…

Last but not least of our wandering around Paris was the shopping. I must admit that after weeks of Italian shopping and knowing there was more to come, shopping time was held to a minimum for this trip…..in Paris it is due its own adventure and will and should come on its own, hopefully, in the very near future……some highlights are below plus a visit to Bon Marche, which deserves its own post as it was truly a delight to my retail senses…..the best of the best and so forward for a brick and mortar retail environment in this digital age of shopping…..

  1. Thank you Roz
The travel log has been great.
You have great 👀 for the beauty of our friends’ cities across the pond. Snails 🐌 are not my favorite thing, but I love cheese. 🧀 And flowers. And wine 🍷
    Oh! And architecture. And sculpture.
    Oh. It’s all wonderful. Enjoy!
