Pi Pizza, once famous as “THE” Pizza truck to buy your pizza from took a step inside to open its first brick & mortar restaurant recently in the heart of the booming Heights area of Houston
So it’s been awhile now since Pi Pizza owners Lee Ellis and Anthony Calleo opened its doors for its joint collaboration from pizza truck to restaurant. However, we MyRedGlasses gals have been waiting for just the right occasion to make our big visit there and we found just the right time and party idea to do it. It was early January and just when we felt like celebrating a birthday, an intern graduation and new intern arrival , Pi Pizza was the obvious choice….after all, who doesn’t love a Pizza Party!!?
Below are two of Calleo’s famous specialty pizzas…..Lee Ellis’ favorite pizza, respectfully called ‘Lee’s Pizza’ on the right is a fave of mine as well as is the ‘Herbivoracious’ shown above. However, there are many to choose from on their creative menu. In addition, Calleo has added many appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts that will expand your choices if pizza is not ALL that you have in mind. Some of those favorites of ours are featured below as well…..
Grecian and Lee’s Pizza….two of many delish pizza choices
Meatballs and Sprouts Salad
Unique take on the Ceasar Sald and mouth-watering Soppressata Rolls
Pi Pizza has added DELIVERY to their list of services….a special treat at Super Bowl time (Note: LATE NIGHT DELIVERY!)
Speaking of Super Bowl…. a few things to know from Cherry Pie Hospitality (Lee Ellis’ parent company)
Party Time at Pi Pizza!!!
If you are like us and haven’t made it over to the Heights yet to check out Pi Pizza, we are warning you to wait no longer….the pizza choices are divine and ever-so-yummy and we credit restaurateur Lee Ellis who was one of Pi Pizza’s first customers and longtime follower to making this happen. We had a great time, ate too much but the take home was worth it. Who doesn’t love leftover pizza!
