Pink Is The Top Color Of The Night On The Grammys Red Carpet

Shades of spring's hottest color accompany neutral looks to win the evening

The Grammy Awards show on TV on Sunday evening, April 3, was the first time in years that I have watched that awards show from start to finish. Reason being, I felt that it was three hours of very well planned, well-orchestrated and beautifully produced musical numbers. Eventhough I must say many of the artists I did not know going into the evening, or was aware of their names but not their works, turned out awesome performances. For me the two most memorable were the Ukranian tribute and the memorial tribute that featured an amazing tribute to the incredible talent of Stephen Sondheim. However, I must say again that so many artists performed their hearts out…..you could feel the joy in the room to just be back!

Of course, there was the Red Carpet fashion and plenty of it. These musical talents stepped out in some amazing fashions from all of the big names of the design world……Armani, Louis Vuiton, Valentino, Dior and many more and jewels were aplenty from the likes of Tiffany, Harry Winston and others.

Pink….in all shades was definitely the color of the night

Neutrals…..predominantly black and white with touches of glitz

Dua Lipa in Vintage Versace black with gold adornments is a classic……worn by Cindy Crawford, Kai Gerber, and even Donatella herself in past years.
Jon Batiste, one of the true joys of the evening and multiple award winner with his most upbeat performance; wearing a glitz & mesh ensemble by Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana___
Lady Gaga was all glam for the evening in Armani Privé as she paid tribute to Tony Bennet and old Hollywood
