Shades of Grey…Fall Color’s Top Neutral

Julie Bortnick here today to chat with you all about shades of grey. No, not Christian Grey, but the color grey for the season ahead. I used to be all about color and prints, and while I’ll still dabble in those areas, these days I’m feeling neutrals. Black, white, and grey are the colors making up my wardrobe lately, specifically the latter. No matter the season, no matter what walks down that fashion week runway, when it comes time for fall, everyone around you, without a doubt, will be wearing grey. Darks and lights, pants, blouses, dresses, and accessories – when I think fall colors, grey is the first one that pops into my head.

There are so many ways to incorporate grey into your ensembles. From a leather jacket to a trench coat to jeans and slacks and blouses, vests, scarves, bags, and everything in between, there is no shortage of this color out there.

Below are some looks I’m particularly fond of, and I’ve added some styling tips in, as well. Is grey your color of choice this season? How do you incorporate it into your wardrobe?
