The State of Retail…..Re-opening Continues With Expanded Capacity

Retailers begin gradual transition to get back to business........stay tuned for updates daily!

State of Retail
Galleria announced that it is has begun re-opening in select stores and that more will follow

As we all have heard, this week we are continuing in Houston to expand store capacities again within the guidelines established by our Governor. What lies ahead, certainly for immediate, is still evolving as stores are reaching out to their clientele to get them back in again. Many are still cautiously expanding their stores, while also expanding their service which in many cases was already very service-driven to be there for all of their clients when needed or planning exactly when they can be ready to do so.

State of Retail 2

As I mentioned in my story when this all started, that it was not very newsy to say that the ever-changing retail world is continuing to evolve. Certainly the state of the world from both corona and protesting at this time has been another jolt to this environment. What I could not have even anticipated three months ago was what devastation would hit ‘my’ industry in a short period of time. The number of retail bankruptcies, store closures and loss of retail jobs is staggering. For all of my Retail colleagues that are comprised of many of my long time talented friends and pillars in the community, that are still trying to be there to fill the needs of their many loyal clients, even if it’s on a somewhat limited way, I commend you!!

The following is an update for this integral segment of our community as it continues the challenge to get back!!! Please support them…..You can click on each highlighted store name to visit their website.
