This is just the beginning of a virtually exciting season…….In its 17th year, Women of Wardrobe and TOOTSIES hosted it’s annual Summer Soireé, which benefits Dress for Success Houston. This year it was a live virtual event with over 100 attendees (“zoomgoers”).
TOOTSIES Creative Director Fady Armanious interviewed local designers Christy Lynn and Claudia Lobao who shared their inspiration, journey in the industry, upcoming trends, and they showcased their Fall collections which are on display at TOOTSIES.
In terms of trends to look out for, Claudia Lobao says that earrings are the new lipstick, which we can totally get on board with! And Christy Lynn is all about flowy dresses, animal print, and versatile pieces without waistlines. Count us in!
Following the virtual event, guests visited the store on Friday and Saturday to snag swag from Nothing Bundt Cakes, PMD Beauty, Cherry, W&P, Pixi Beauty, Cocktail Kits 2 Go, Cherry, Asrani Group, Popbands, Lucky Cat Beauty, and more while browsing the designers’ collections. Tootsies donated 10% of the sales raising more than $6,500 for the women of Dress for Success Houston.
