So hard to believe that we are on our way back to Florence for our first trip as (click here) Curated Journey and we could not be more excited. First of all, it’s Easter, which has always been, next to Christmas, the most beloved holiday in Italy. All of our research, especially in chatting with natives of this jewel of a city, claim this to be Florence’s most glorious time of the Spring Season…….Easter Sunday brings with it an explosion of renewed joy for this renowned city which must be experienced as the home of the Renaissance. Can hardly wait, as although I have spent a decade visiting Florence,(Firenze), I am always amazed at the new treasures I experience each time. This trip, in particular, will be our chance to visit many cultural venues as well as some new highlights that only the Florentine locals experience…..a true behind-the-scene look at many tourist stand bys for our first timers but also some spectacular non-touristy stops along the way.
For me on a personal note, as I am soon to make another trip around the sun, I have come to the realization and I encourage many of you to do as well….that I am now living my bucket list and have every intention of living it to the fullest! The time is NOW and we are ready to do it. I am starting by showing you just a small overview of our scouting trip last Fall as many of you have asked me for and invite you to stay tuned to both our social media and curatedjourney as we take you with us on our first of this year’s excursions.
