In our new “normal” of social distancing, working from home, and being quarantined, there’s been a lot of adjusting to do. And one of those adjustments for many of us is the presence of meetings, happy hours, and holidays via Zoom. These gatherings have become a great pick-me-up for my day whether it’s a meeting with colleagues, a touch base with friends or a Happy Birthday song on Houseparty, another new addition to my repertoire of online hot spots. (FaceTime, FB/Insta Live and Skype are still there as well!) One thing all of these have in common is that even though the look of all attendees is more relaxed, there is still that thought of “how do I look for the camera/computer”?
One of the great things about Zoom calls and meetings is that you really only have to dress up your top half, so many of us have been wearing sweat pants or comfortable pants on bottom with a nicer blouse up top, or a casual dress of sorts. And with the “casual on bottom, nicer on top” look comes the need to accessorize now more than ever!
