American fashion icon, Nicole Miller, brings her Spring 2014 Collection, straight from the runways of
NYFashion Week, to close Night 2 of Fashion Houston
Nicole Miller’s collection for Spring 2014 is a departure from her menswear influenced Fall 2013. She has titled it REBELS WITH A CAUSE with a focus taken from her Europen travels with her son this summer. Her inspiration, The Gardens of Versaille and storming the castle! She has taken the beauty of French influences and added an edge that is all her own…her NYFW Show Program talks to gardens, mazes, chandelliers and shattered mirrors or as she sums it up……POWER MEETS PRETTY!
The mixes are pattern with pattern, ala florals with stripes and soft n pretty with leather and bling (beading). The look is unique and the more I look at it, the more I like it. Each look is not for everyone, worn as shown on the runway but the pieces and options are endless and will give you great fun, playing it different ways to make it your own!
