I always feel that the official Spring Fashion Kick-off in Houston begins with the Best Dressed Luncheon, co-hosted by Neiman Marcus and Houston Chronicle and benefitting the March of Dimes. Houston’s fashion set always plan their finest Spring digs for this special and highly anticipated event. This year was no exception as the 35th annual luncheon chaired by power ladies, Chairs Kristy Bradshaw and Isabell David was held at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Houston. The ten women honored for their philanthropy and sense of style were showcased to an energetic crowd of 600 that raised more than $500,000 to support this worthy cause, that’s goal is to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Senior Vice President and Fashion Director, Ken Downing was in town directly from traveling the fashion capitals of the world as fashion runway shows highlighting next seasons fashion were shown. Ken was in town to introduce the Brunello Cucinelli collection and to add, his special charm and wit and fashion savvy to this special event.
