Italian Cultural Community Center Kicks off Songs & Styles of Italy Fall Fashion Show & Luncheon With Fun Evening Celebrating Italian Culture

This past week, as the Italian Cultural and Community Center (ICCC) kicked off its fall luncheon, I couldn’t help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for my family and heritage. Alongside my brother, Steve Tyrell, I am deeply honored to be recognized at this extraordinary luncheon, which promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Italian culture.

Erika Myers, Executive Director for the Italian Cultural Community Center and Lesha Elsenbrook and Ginger Niemann, the chairs for the upcoming luncheon, welcomed everyone with open arms, setting the stage for a delightful afternoon in Neiman’s newly renovated Precious Jewelry Department, filled with warmth and camaraderie. Throughout the event, guests were able to indulge in fine Italian wine graciously provided by TuttiLili. This kickoff at Neiman Marcus was a sort-of homecoming for Steve, who was in town for a performance in Galveston’s Grand Opera House (you can see more about that on my socials). It was fabulous for Steve and I to connect with so many of our friends over our Italian heritage and culture. We ended up sharing plenty of family stories highlighting our commitment to our Italian heritage and its culture which we wish to expand in our city as some select Italian visionaries have done in the past.
