The Spring Bag Trends We’re Loving

Feature

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but I beg to differ. Julie here today, and I think bags are actually a girl’s best friend!

Of course, we always have our classic bags that will stand the test of time, and then you have the trendier bags. While some trends do stick around, some come in for a season or two and go right out. Regardless of how long the bag’s “life” is, it’s fun to see the new bag trends each season. Some are trends that have made a resurgence from over 20 years ago (see: fanny pack below), and some are bags that are actually always hot, but especially popular and trendy for a certain season.

So, keep on reading for our favorite bag trends of the season!

Fanny Pack / Belt Bag

Yep, the belt bag (aka fanny pack)  is back and better than ever! Though, this isn’t so much the 1987 neon green mesh one you wore, but more so the Gucci beautiful leather ones that now take on a timeless look.

Fringe

Fringe isn’t a brand new trend, as fringe has been on and off hot for seasons now, but it’s a big one this spring season. Whether totes, shoulder bags, or clutches, the more fringe the better.

Straw

Straw typically becomes very popular in the hot summer months, and straw bags are often used for the pool and beach and tropical vacations. However, we’re seeing straw bags coming earlier this year and not just for the aforementioned activities. You’ll see women wearing all sizes and shapes of straw bags and out and about everywhere.

Logo Bags

This is another one that was a bit of a trend a while back, and now we’re seeing it front and center. And this isn’t just the designer / brand’s logo on the bag, but it’s more the logo / name front and center on the bag. It’s kind of fun!
