Stylin’ Spring 2014…Dresses for All Occasions

Feature-for-Blog

I’ve never made a secret of my obsession with dresses….maybe it starts with my first buying job back in Bloomingdale’s days, but the versatility of ‘The Dress,’ has always attracted me.  As we move away from the cold and into our newest season, nothing says Spring more than a dress and there are plenty of great ones out there.

I just spent a weekend away in Cabo san Lucas for a friend’s wedding and could not help but notice the wide array of great, stylish gals that were dress-clad all weekend long.  From the beach to the parties by the pool to the formal tented wedding in the sand, the majority of the weekend’s most stylish women wore an assortment of dresses that proved my point that a great dress can take you anywhere!

This season’s styles are all-over the board….in lengths: minis, maxis and midi’s (the big new length from Fall Runway Shows has already worked its way into stores).  Fresh new artisan prints in bold colorations, soft feminine tonalities from nude to blush to other pastel favorites, to the graphics of black and white, are all there. Details such as lace, stripes, and sheer have returned for another season. The closet staple, the LBD, has a rival in the LWD, both are must-haves for every woman’s wardrobe.

We’ve selected a variety of occasions and highlighted a dress that you could personalize to make your own for each of these events.  Take a look; you can even make a PURCHASE right here…just click on the links below the images to order online from the comfort of your own computer (Neiman Marcus is even starting the season off right with a 25% off Dress Sale Today Only online!)  The choices are endless. If you make one purchase to get Spring rolling….make it a Dress!
