Endless Blues

Pantone's color of the year is a great addition to all aspects of our lives......from our fashion to our home!

As we head into March, we think it’s time to talk about Pantone’s Color of the Year. No, we’re not late to the party! In fact, just the opposite. We’ve been talking about how much we love this year’s Pantone choice since they announced it, and we’ve been so excited to work on this article. And today we’re bringing it to you!

If you aren’t familiar with Pantone’s Color of the Year, Pantone selects a color each year, and that color is supposed to embody certain feelings, emotions, and an overall vibe when seeing or wearing the color.

And this year the color is ‘Classic Blue’ (Pantone 19-4052). According to Pantone, ‘Classic Blue’ is described as “Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.”

We couldn’t agree more. Blue, in general, is a calming color, as it’s the color of the ocean and the sky. It’s often associated with stability, trust, and loyalty. And not only do we love what the color stands for, but we genuinely love the color.

We hope you grasp all that is ‘Classic Blue’ this year, and below we’ve pulled together some great ways to wear the color, along with some pieces you can shop right here right now. As well, the interiors world is loving this shade of blue, always a great pop color for the home but now much more dominant and even one of the hottest luggage brands came out with a whole line in honor of the color.
