A lot has changed this year but one thing that will never change is a true passion for fashion that we all feel. Although Recipe for Success Foundation’s annual Fashion in the Fields Brunch and Fashion Show at Hope Farms with Lela Rose has been postponed, early supporters will be invited to an exclusive V.I.P. Styling Experience and Brunch with Lela on October 21, 2020 at Hope Farms. Fashion in the Fields will be held on November 2021 and will honor a late beloved board member who was one of last year’s Fashion in the Fields chairs.
The World of Lela Rose event, featuring fashionable farm fans, will include a ‘Wear Your Lela Rose’ Fashion Show along with a presentation of her 2021 Spring Collection. Fady Armanious, Creative Fashion Director of Tootsies, will be both hosting the Spring 2021 collection preview and commentating the ‘Wear Your Lela’ fashion show; and personal styling extraordinaire Melissa Sugulas will host the Pearl by Lela Rose trunk show, which consists of gorgeous everyday classics. Lela will be joining via Zoom for the show where early donors of the 2021 Fashion in the Fields of $10,000 and above will be invited to step into the spotlight to show their Lela. Ladies may don their favorite Lela piece from their personal collection or get a new frock from Tootsies. All guests are encouraged to wear their favorite Lela and cowboy boots for a day of fashionable fun in The Gathering Barn at Hope Farms.
“We are excited to be able to plan this fun with Lela and invite our fashionable supporters out to enjoy a gorgeous fall day at Hope Farms! We all need a reason to smile and dress up for a safe event and nowhere better to do that than our bucolic setting just outside the loop,” says Recipe for Success Founder and longtime Lela collector, Gracie Cavnar.
Lela and her team are donating amazing items for shoppers of the new Lela Rose and Pearl Collection to have the chance to win. Anyone who purchases from one of the collections on October 21, will be entered into drawings for a $1600 (est. value) Collection ensemble or a $600 (est. value) Pearl piece. Winners will be drawn at the end of the event. Raffle tickets will be on sale featuring an Atelier Party with Lela in New York for a group of up to 10 friends as the grand prize. The raffle drawing will be held at the larger November 2021 event. To incentivize major sponsors, Lela is offering to personally host a private styling session with donors.
This year’s alfresco event will have a max of 50 guests with staggered arrival times and appointments to enjoy the World of Lela Rose in the safest, most unique setting on the farm. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will be serving Lela’s signature Cocktails to Match the Dress and Salata will serving up beautiful boxed lunches. Your favorite vintage flower truck, Flower Child’s Rosebud will be loaded with nosegays crafted from roses and seasonal flowers for guests to take home. Rosebud along with a themed wall of roses will be the perfect backdrop for your photos.
