Appetizers and Drinks to Enjoy All Summer Long

Watermelon Feta Mint SkewersSummertime and the livin’ is easy!

Julie here today, and I am in a summer state of mind. One of my favorite things about the season is getting together with friends and family at a pool, on the lake, or for a backyard BBQ. It’s such a carefree, laid back season and what’s better than enjoying it all with the people you love?

Now, I wouldn’t classify myself as a “gourmet cook” by any stretch of the imagination, but I do go through phases where I love to dabble in the cooking arena, especially when entertaining guests. I certainly don’t like difficult recipes that take all day to make, but I do like easy, fairly quick, and delicious ones that are sure to be crowd pleasers.

With it being the season of casual gatherings, it’s good to have some recipes in your back pocket for when you might have an impromptu afternoon of swimming at your house or when you’re invited over to a friend’s.

So, below are 14 appetizer and drink recipes  that are simply perfect for the summer! Enjoy!
